Help for Collaborative Projects Between UK and Australia/Canada

Get your organisation included in a dossier to be circulated in Australia & Canada!

In the light of future EU funding for arts & culture projects involving partners from Europe and Australia / Canada, Culture.Info is organising a "brokering" initiative to help develop partnerships between UK arts organisations and those in Australia and Canada. There will be seminars in the UK, Australia and Canada that will promote this opportunity, and those attending the UK seminars will be invited to submit details of their organisation and any project ideas, and these will be compiled into a dossier that will be distributed at the seminars in Australia and Canada. Likewise, those attending the seminars in Australia and Canada will be invited to submit details of their organisations, and these will also be compiled into dossiers that will be made available to those who attended the UK seminars.

This EU opportunity is strand 1.3.5 of the Culture programme, which supports projects with at least 3 partners from 3 European countries plus a partner from a "third country". The EC nominates one or more "third countries" each year - and those for the 2013 deadline (around 1 May) are Australia and Canada. This strand offers grants of up to €200,000 for collaborative projects lasting up to 2 years.

The seminars will last 2.5 hours, and will cover:

• general information on EU funding for arts and culture
• detailed information about the Culture programme
• specific information about strand 1.3.5 in particular
